Internal Product Manager

Job Title: Internal Product Manager

Hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday

Location: Our head office and logistics is in Redditch, we also have offices in Pangbourne, Rochester, Weymouth and Copthorne (nr Gatwick).  The role will be based at one of our UK office locations, operating under the Company Hybrid Working Policy, working a minimum of 3 days per week from the office

Division: Product Group – Optoelectronics

About us: Solid State Supplies Ltd (part of Solid State PLC), is a technology solutions provider serving a diverse range of business to business markets.


We are looking for an individual to join our product group team to assist the Product Manager with all aspects of managing and growing the Optoelectronics product lines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as main point of contact when Product Manager is unavailable
  • Generate quotations in response to customer requests
  • NPI population of website and general updating in collaboration with the Product Manager
  • Working with purchasing to manage lead times and stock profiles and supplier/customer returns
  • Build and maintain strong, effective relationships with suppliers
  • Participation in supplier and customer reviews as required
  • Provide general administrative support

  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Competent general computer skills
  • Some understanding and experience of Optoelectronic products would be an advantage
