The L76 module itself is extremely compact in size and is a GNSS module. L76 is a concurrent GNSS receiver with multiple GNSS systems. Providing simultaneous GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo and QZSS open service L1 reception capability. A total of 33 tracking channels, 99 acquisition channels and 210 PRN channels, this module can acquire and track any mix of multiple satellite signals.
As L76 has multiple GNSS systems this allows for an increase in the number of visible satellites, which in turn reduces the time to first fix and increases positioning accuracy, particularly important when driving in rough urban environments.
